HERE COMES OUR LAST VISIT!!!

Sad that it has come to this time. Well of course, it's our last visit and for this last visit we went to pediatric ward once again.

Friday,08/05/15 : There were no briefing for the visit this time and our advisor, Dr. Tan joined us during the visit to observe and evaluate how we did our volunteer work. As usual our visit start at 5 pm. But our activities began at 3 pm. Usually it's briefing time. As there was no briefing this time, we all prepare the goodies for the orphan that we'll visit the next day. After that, we arrange a meeting among ourselves to divide work force for the next day to smooth the flow of activities for that day.

I think that is all for this time report. Haha. Else, I will provide photo for you readers to enjoy. :-)

Packing the orphange's gift

This is the inside of a gift bag that we had prepared.

Discussion regarding the budget for the activities between the one in charge of contacting the orphange and our group treasurer.

This is our meeting together to organize ourselves more for the next event.

Although this post is about our last visit to pediatric ward, funnily there are'nt a single photo of us visiting. Well this is because the ward that we visit is oncology ward for children, so the phone are not allowed in there.

Okay till we meet again. :-)

``WAN``

As this is our third visit, I've grown quite accustomed to it. The challenge that I have to face during this visit is to accomplish the assignment given by ustaz and that is to create a 15 minute conversation with the patient we visit. I did not achieve it as both the patient I visit contract a fever due to their chemotherapy treament. I do not want to interupt them as I saw they are resting, so I cut my talk short. Along this time that I realize how hard it is to maintain a conversation with the patient considering their condition and all.
This is a visit that I won't forget because I could meet with Syauqi again. Syauqi is a boy whom I met at the end of my first visit. In this visit, I talk to him and his parents. From his parent I got to know that Syauqi has a fever right after his chemo treatment. I got to know more by talking to his parents. My visit ends when I saw Syauqi reaction like he want to sleep. So I took my leave after saying thanks and to his parents.

aisyah :)

Terima kasih adik-adik.

Well, actually Miss Wan Nur Atirah, I got one picture with the patient. Hehehehe. Okay I broke the rule. But we already ask the patient if we can take his photo or not. And we get a positive answer. So now I will reveal it.  (Drum Rolls) :)

This kid, his name is Muhammad Afqar. He just 15 years old. Supposely, he needs to take PT3 this year. But due to his illness, he rarely go to school. Need to come to the hospital to do the chemotheraphy, check up and all sort of things. And yet, he still determines to take the examination. He insists to take PT3 this year. WOW you got my salute brother. So to those who want to give up their study or just take easy with their syllabus, come on guys, take this kid as a model. This kid had to struggle to take the exam. You, who are healthy, should appreciate you have the chance to study without facing difficulties. That's all. last word from me: Bersyukurlah.
